The ability to size all the components in the central cooling system correctly gives a perfect solution. This enables the investment costs to be reduced and the equipment adapted to the specific application. gwk prefers the closed circuit solution with VA or plastic tanks, stainless steel manifolds and PE or PVC piping.

Container cooling plant saves space and money

A complete centralised cooling plant, including the required peripherals, can be set up in the absolute shortest possible timescale at the subsequent place of installation and is immediately ready for use by means of prefabrication and installation in a container. In addition to the reduction of high construction costs, this also minimises the installation and startup costs.




















The central cooling system including all inter connecting parts is pre produced and installed in a container which can be positioned very quickly on site.
There are no expensive buildings to be erected and installation and start-up costs are extremely low. Furthermore the system is immediately ready to operate.



















Containerised cooling plants have almost no limitations in terms of their capacity and variety of possible combinations.
The containers are specially manufactured for the integration of the cooling plant specific to the individual demands. They are supplemented by peripheral systems such as water treatment.




Pump and tank group

The gwk pump and tank group, PE and VA containers, guarantee the water supply of the production.




















The pump and tank group are built to the specification of the consumer in connection with e.g. an hermeticool sited on the container roof, this is usual in this type of application.






















Clean process water from gwk KU-plants

What is more refreshing than cold water? KU-plants from gwk utilise the cooling energy provided by water to carry away surplus heat from production machines in the most trouble free and cost effective way possible.





















The use of KU-plants provide a closed cooling circuit and reduce maintenance costs.






















gwk cooling towers

gwk cooling towers work using the evaporation principle and are used today by gwk engineers for many industrial processes. Production plants all over the world are cooled by gwk cooling towers.














gwk cooling towers can be set up on the top of a container for connection to a KU-plant and pump and tank group to provide closed circuit cooling.



















gwk cooling towers mounted on a container are space saving and require minimal setting up on site.


Freecooler hermeticool hybrid

gwk free coolers are space saving and energy efficient cooling systems which are perfectly suitable for replacing the high maintenance and intensive running cost cooling towers.


















The hermeticool hybrid, often known as adiabatic freecooler, is a closed circuit cooling system. The position of the unit is usually on the roof of the production building.



















At low night temperature the hermeticool is most efficient. The integrated hybrid function also permits the reliable function at high day time temperatures.


Water heat recovery

Water heat recovery is heating energy at no cost.
The waste heat from the production maschine is fed via the cooling water on a high temperature exchange to the gwk water heat recovery plant.

Water to air heat exchangers convert surplus heat into usable heat energy without using additional energy. There are three different models:













The basic version with axial fan for use in industrial areas.









The top version in a modern design for showrooms and entrance halls.










And the more presentable form with a nice housing and a radial fan for use in offices or apartments.
