Although a large number of converters are sufficiently familiar with the fact that the "mold temperature" influences not only the cooling time but also the quality of the molded part, they do not realize that this means the mold wall temperature, i.e. the temperature profile over the entire surface area of a part that has just been produced, rather than the temperature value that is shown on the displays of the heating/ cooling unit.
